I use my 1060 for gaming and my 960 for mining (I know its not that profitable but im hobby miner? )

When im gaming, the hashrate of my 960 is reduced. Whats wierd is that it doesnt happen all the time. Sometimes the hashrate is un affected but why is the hashratw reduced??? Are games using the 960 or is it a power issue?

PSU: Seaaonic s12ii 520w 80+bronze

There could be any number of causes, inadequate PSU, heat build up, bandwidth limitations etc etc. It looks like your probably running dry on CPU cycles if anything. Although mining doesn't need much, it still needs some. Plus has NV drivers decided to run physX on the 960? That may cause some slowdown for the few games that supports it.
