Need opinions!!

Which graphics card would you guys prefer? The EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card  ($499.99 @ SuperBiiz) or MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G? Give me some opinions

I prefer the 1080 of course.

 

However, preferring something is different than being useful. The 1080 might not be suitable for you and be overkill for your system or for what you try to achieve. And therefore the 1070 might be more suitable.

The 1080 is much better so I am unsure what the question is even about?

1080 will be faster and has more CUDA cores, meaning it will perform better. The 1070Ti is cheaper and is still a solid card for the price.

I'd get the 1080 but get a STRIX rather than a Gaming X because it's a better cooler.

If it fits better in your budget, buy the 1070 ti, otherwise go for the 1080. they are both great performing cards and not super far off from each other performance wise.

Also a good idea, I have a gaming X card and the cooler performs fine but I would rather probably have a Strix card for better lighting integration and the little bit better cooler

Plus it doesn't have that hideous red gloss plastic
