Europa IV?

Alright so I'm looking for a conquer the world type strategy game where I can choose a nation and slowly conquer the world. The best one I've played so far was Rise of Nations. I've tried Super Power 2 and it was very very lacking. I have and do play CivV but it doesn't have the same magic that RoN had.

Has anyone tried Europa Universalis IV? Im interested in playing it as a conquer the world game but I don't know much about it.

It's a Paradox game so I'd wait a while until they fix the bugs they always have for the first 6 months or so. After being fixed they destroy your social life.

 

It was on sale yesterday at steam so you still have a few hours to buy it at the cheap price, unless you want to wait for the final day of the sale.
