Tech report says it's a Samsung VA panel. If you ask me I think that's all I'd need to know. It's gonna be a good, low blur panel with good colors (not as good as IPS, but still decent), a decent curve and lovely 144Hz. 110% sRGB coverage as well.

Looks like a good monitor to me. :)

No HDMI can do it, but I believe the monitor comes with a DP cable, so I would just use that.

You can use DVI or DisplayPort for 1080p 144 Hz. The HDMI port on that monitor supports up to 120 Hz at 1080p.

Ok!

Monitor arrives in 2-3 days, I will update this post with my thoughts after some test are done, it could be useful for someone interested in this product.

UP!
Arrived yesterday, tested for few hours and it's really amazing!
Nice colors, no motion-blur and backlight bleeding, only a barely noticeable ghosting sometimes with BF1, with the others games it's all fine.
I've used Word and Excel for around 5 hours, zero eyes strain for me, pretty good.
The difference from 60 to 144Hz it's ABYSSAL, even on the desktop i can feel the smoothness and for playing games it's even more evident.
I've spent 45min with the OSD for finding a good balance with the colors, not a big deal it's really simple and immediate to use it.
Really happy with my purchase :P
