IPS vs TN [Solved]

MaryuLeavesadyin

Now I'm getting a Laptop but I'm worried about one thing: The display. I know that IPS has a slower response time than TN panels. But how does it feel? I play games like CS:GO where this is very important.

Does IPS feel like TN panel but with V-sync in triple buffer?

Is the difference negligible?

Can I alter my TN panel or game settings in anyway to simulate using an IPS?

Response time affects motion blur. It has nothing to do with delay/lag.

Get the IPS panel. You won't notice any downsides.

IPS is always the superior choice. CRT would be better though.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
