so i have fifa 17 and it does run smoothly but in a free kick or goal keeper shot or player close ups the fps drops rapidly so is there a way to reduce gfx in those certaint parts ONLY

use rivatuner and monitor what your pc is doing when the fps drops. also what is your specs?

Dropped rapidly or capped at 30fps?

100% usage (cpu,gpu)

 

like 15 fps or so 

 

amd a10 9700 apu (base clock)

igpu r7

8 gb ddr4 2400 mhz

10~15 fps and normaly 60 locked

you need to force adaptive sync, Fifa 17 has a double buffer on freekicks, corners, etc.....in settings set it to run at unlimited fps, not 60, then in your graphics card software, set up a  fifa profile with adaptive sync on.

 

Works for me on AMD using radeon pro
