Cherry makes a range of different mechanical switches, including the Cherry MX Red and Cherry MX Speed switches.

The MX Red and MX Speed switches are quite similar - the Speeds just have a slightly shallower actuation point (so you don't have to press down the key quite as far before it registers).

Red is the type of switch they are. Cherry makes many different types including blue, Brown, Black, Red etc... so if it has a color in the name, its just referencing the switch color.

Scroll down a bit to Cherry and it'll explain the main gaming keyboard switch types and their differences.

What does it mean and what is the difference ?

The second keyboard has different switches than the first one: Cherry MX Speed vs. Cherry MX Red. Cherry (the key manufacturer) makes a different range of mechanical switches. Their most common ones are black, blue, brown and red and from what I know:

Cherry MX Black: If you're not a fan of loud click noises and tactile feedback. These switches make the keys easier to tap multiple times.

Cherry MX Blue: Popular with typists due to the audible feedback, accompanied by the tactile "bump" when pressing down on a key.

Cherry MX Brown: The middleground in the Cherry MX range. Quieter than the Blue switch, but retains soft tactile feedback.

Cherry MX Red: Similar to Black switches, these offer less resistance and thus are favored by gamers.

The Cherry MX Speed are similar to Reds but they have a shorter actuation point (1.2 mm compared to 2 mm)

Not really. They are missing a lot of switches: https://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX

Yea, just noticed afterwards too, that some are missing. Seems that's the list I linked is the ones they still make.
