Any suggestions for a silent case with a window panel that has good sound dampening and decent airflow. I don't care about the fans as I can swap those out. Have the Silent base 800 in my sights but wondering if there is something more sleek looking that fits the bill. Unfortunately I'll be buying before the Silent base 801 arrives to the market :/

Imo well-built cases (so materials are thick and gaps match tightly) are already 90% as silent as the most quiet case (without going ridiculous on sound insulation materials). Using silent fans with enough airflow and overkill coolers for the CPU and graphics card helps reduce noise levels most.

My Define C from Fractal Design is quiet, looks great, and doesn't break the bank. I highly suggest it.

How does the Fractal Design Meshify C TG compare to the Fractal Design Define S Mid Tower with Window Black as far as sound dampening and airflow goes?

Meshify's cheese grater front leaks all noises out unmuffled.

For case to have any chances of muffling noise coming out from components there shouldn't be direct noise escape paths toward anywhere near user.

The Meshify C is designed for Airflow, plain and simple. It is NOT designed for silence.

The Define S, like many of Fractla's cases are designed for a balance of airflow and silence. The Define S is a bit older thoug and has been replaced by the Define R6. However, both these cases are larger (and more expensive in the case of the R6) than the Meshify C, so if you want a silent case thats relatively cheap and small, the Define C TG is your best bet. My Purple build in my signature uses a mATX version of that case, and it's very quiet! :)
