Hello,

 

I'm stuck on what upgrade i should get for my asus dcu2 7870.

 

My two options so far are:

why not get a 290 and add a second one later on?

290, 290x isn't worth the extra 100$

^this.

 

they are basically the same card with like 5% performance difference. Id go for an aftermarket cooler there aswell though. adds maybe 20 bucks.

Unless its a really crappy psu you are good.

Just make sure it has some kind of 80+ certification.

600W will be "just" enough, I'd upgrade to an 850W+ if you want to add a second card for CrossfireX.
