so i just tried to extract a file on my ssd to my ssd.  the issue is that it was incredibly slow and when i say slow i mean slow.  it was running sometimes at less the 100kb per second.  the ssd in question is a samsung 860 evo.  also the transfer would freeze sometimes for like 5 seconds or so.  the ssd is only like 2 months old and i havent had any issues until now.  usally when i extract files, they go right away but not tonight which is getting me thinking since i had a similar issue with my last motherboard that it may be the sata controller or my ssd.  not too sure.  let me know so i can figure out if i need to get a new mobo.  thanks  also not too sure if this has anything to do with it but even when empytying the recycle bin, it is also slower then normal.  i also checked my internet connection and that it is fine.

Well, you could run something like Crystal Disk Info to see if the SSD has any problems... could be a manufacturing defect.
