Radeon RX580 for Entry Level PC?

I am building an entry level gaming pc. I want something under 300 USD so I went for an Asus - Radeon RX 580 8GB DUAL Video Card. It seems good but I wanted some feedback. I was originally thinking about an MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6G 6GB 6GT OC Video Card. Let me know which one is better

the RX 580 is good but it's definitely more mid range than entry level.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

I see that the RX580 fits my price point and has a higher amount of GDDR5. So I am not sure which one to go with.

Depends on your budget, the 580 is a good choice but also kinda expensive. (also the title says 570 instead of 580)

Yes, I just realized. ThanksxD. RX580 was recommended but since I am new to this I wanted some more feedback. The RX580 seems to be $20 cheaper than the GTX1060 6GB

Is that for the RX580 8gb or 4gb. You shouldn't pay more for a 580 4gb than a 1060 6gb.

The two cards are basically within margin of error, so ultimately it comes down to price and G-Sync vs FreeSync. They're both good options and you can't really go wrong.
