Hello, I'm kinda new to pc building in general, and I was wondering if a (brand new) 700w bronze psu that a friend happened to sell is enough for my build which I think to oc at 4.3ghz:

Ryzen 7 2700X

Gtx 1080

X470 motherboard

M.2 240gb ssd, 1tb hdd

240mm liquid cooling

16gb ddr4 ram dimm 2

Thats more than enough!! Your build might max out at 600-650w

No, get a good 400-550W Gold one like Bitfenix Formula.

Or Cougar GX-F if you want a modular one

Both on the cheaper side.

700W Bronze sounds like shit - group regulated one -> +5V and +12V are regulated together, if one is loaded an the other is not, the loaded one falls, the not loaded one rises. And that can also go out of the ATX specification and, at worst, damage your hardware.

BUT:
Without knowing what "700W Bronze" its impossible to say and we should assume that it is a bad one...

First of all, 500W would be more than enough for that system. Second, what PSU is it? Model name or a link to it on PCPartPicker would be great.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
