Built this on Cyberpowerpc.com wondering if it's a good build, gaming in mind, 4k stuff, VR etc etc, not looking for something insane and pointless like SLI Titans or anything. But I want to be able to run anything like GTA V 4k, ARK 4k, etc. Thanks for any advice changes!

Get a Z370 motherboard and drop the Hard Drive cooling system and DVD Drive. You can definitely drop the PSU down to a 550 to 650 watt version as well because 1000 watts is beyond overkill.

I really appreciate the tips, made the changes as per suggested.

Which Z370 board did you choose? You should probably get a better one as it sounds like you'll be OCing pretty far with a 360mm

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

@DocSwag

Was actually unsure if there was a difference aside from WiFi from these two

ASUS ROG STRIX B360-F gaming ATX w/ RGB, USB 3.1, 2 PCIe x16, 4 PCIe x1, 6 SATA3, 2 M.2 SATA/PCIe [Intel Optane Ready]

ASUS TUF H370-Pro Gaming (WiFi) ATX w/ 802.11ac WiFi, RGB, USB 3.1, 2 PCIe x16, 4 PCIe x1, 6 SATA3, 2 M.2 SATA/PCIe [Intel Optane Ready]

I'm clueless when it comes to motherboards, seem like fancy expensive plugin outlets is all.

Should really just build it yourself, but what's your budget/country and what are they charging for that?

If you're just doing 60hz gaming you can get a cheaper CPU like an R5 2600 and be perfectly fine. Same on the GPU front, would suggest you just live with like a 1070-1080 as next generation GPUs will be coming soon enough that are more capable at 4k which you can buy with the money saved. You'd have to live with 4k medium for now on the lesser GPUs. Or just use a render scale in games.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

@Tha Joker Got a better website?

Buy the parts directly and setup your build on PcPartPicker. And I'm not saying that to be a dick or not informative. I've just heard A LOT of terrible things from CyberPower.

If you get one of these two though I would suggest you get an i7 8700 + cheap or no CPU cooler + less frequency RAM.
