Overclocking an i5 6600k on a Asrock z170 pro4s mobo

HI I'm trying to overclock my I5 6600k cpu on an Asrock z170 motherboard and im not sure what I'm doing, I've read a couple of forums and tried to do it,i set the cpu multiplier to 40 to achieve 4.0 ghz, I clicked "cpu voltage" and set it to "fixed voltage" then typed in "1.27". I then booted up into windows and i saw an increase in a score on cinebench from 605 to 625. I guess my question is, did i do this right? Am I about to blow up my cpu as i type this?

-Part list-

Cpu:I5 6600k
Mobo: Asrock z170 pro4s
Ram:2x4 8gb Hyperx fury ddr4
Gpu: Rx xfx 470 4gb
Cpu cooler: Evga clc 240
Psu:Evga 500w

If it ran Cinebench, I would say the overclock is stable, but Aida64 will give a better answer.

If the score increased, then you did successfully overclock.

Extreme works, that's the one I always use if I need Aida64 for anything.
