Alright, will consider it. The fan colour doesn't really matter to me.

$80 for that nocturnal cooler isn't really worth it. Might as well get an h80i for that price. I think the hyper 212 will actually fit in that case but not completely sure

The stock cooler is noisy and hot as all hell if you're running a half decent CPU. The H80i can be quite impractical if you don't have a lot of space to work with. It would help a lot if you would specify what case you're going to use. If you really need to go low profile I can only suggest the Thermalright AXP-100. It's a fantastic performer for the size and at around $60 it should be well within anyone's budget as well. The only drawback is again the color of the fan. While I like the colors of the Noctua fans I really can't say the same for this. :)

The hyper 212 should fit.

The core 1000 is about the same case but narrower(92mm rear fan instead of 120mm) and a hyper 212 almost fit (a hyper TX4 (or something 120mm tower cooler) fits)

So you ll almost certainly be able to fit a hyper 212 but you might block the top fan slot on the side panel.

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

The GeminII M4 or the GeminII S524 are low profile heatsinks. I think their temps are pretty close to the temps on the Hyper 212 Evo. Correct me if this is wrong.
