So im looking around for a new phone and BestBuy has the LG G2 at $50 which is pretty stellar, but i've read around and it has something called Carrier IQ. What is Carrier IQ and should i not get the LG G2 because of Carrier IQ?

Thanks for that post, but im still a bit concerned. I could always just kill the process everytime i reboot, but its still a major bummer :/ Should i still get the LG G2?

From my knowledge only the ATT LG G2 has Carrier IQ which sucks balls but i havent heard much of people confirming about their version. Yeah its sketchy as shit, but im going to trust them. For $50 im still certain im going to enjoy the phone though.

-Edit- I've read around and i found out that there is a way to disable Carrier IQ which is nice.

yeah the T-Mobiler version has an Opt In/Out thing for it where ATT only has an opt In Option. But i've found out that i can kill the process until i reboot my phone which is nice. So i guess im just gonna get it now that i know i can kill the process. Just gotta remember to do it all the time :P
