well Nvidia flat out said earlier today at a panel at Computex to NOT expect any new video cards from them anytime soon... so if you do wait.. you will be waiting for quite some time.

interesting. Ill be frank, I havent looked at the last in a few weeks, so was not aware there was any questions surrounding the G3s performance. Thanks for pointing this out!

If you want/need now, buy now. If Nvidia is being truthful, we wont see any new GPUs from them until next year. Current line up is still 100% adequate and frankly has no problems in anything.

Appreciate it  tho i dont want to spend money on things such as the memory  since i can get some thing to do the job with less money , id rather go for some thing to improve the performance

Well, there is quite a difference between 2133 and 3200MHz on the memory, so I'd advise against cheaping out on memory. Memory can boost your FPS by a good 10% and sometimes more. Over 3200MHz is rather pointless.

Not worth the hassle to go SLI. Some games don't even support it or run poor/not at all with 2 gpu's.

Also 8700K > R7 1700 if the op wants max fps. At 1080p/1440p the i7 should still be faster.

Comparing the two rigs id opt for the dual 1080 ti . And i do believe that the cuts on the memory and the storage more eligible without affecting the performance , tho 90 dollars mother board for this kind of setup , maaah i dunno . And btw will i get the maximum performance out of these gpus with a ryzen cpu ?

Fyi, am building this setup on a bechmark bed

That motherboard will be fine.

You 'could' go with a intel build but u'd have to sacrifice somthing, like a smaller SSD and using stock CPU cooler perhaps.

Any CPU bottleneck vs intel will only show up in high really FPS environments, say if ur running 1080p for example.

if your runing 4k, SLi is the way to go imo.

if you runing 1080p, then a single 1080ti on an intel platform, and save your money, no need to spend $2500 for that kind of rig.

Note: Don't overclock this GPU. Just let it run at stock speeds. It doesn't have the best thermals for a 1080 Ti.
