Mouse And Keyboard Not Working

Go to solution Solved by TomWeedon,

I have now fixed the issue thanks to lots of forum searching. Turns out the USB drivers had been corrupted so by interrupting booting into Windows 3 times then going into System Restore and rolling back to settings from 3 days ago. I could then boot into Windows like normal with the keyboard and mouse working.

Hi,

So my pc has been running fine for a while now and suddenly I turned it on today and found that I couldn't log in as my keyboard got power but was not working on my pc, my mouse did not get any power so was not working either. I have tried changing ports and stuff but no luck please help!

Just tried going into the BIOS and the keyboard and mouse work when there but when I boot into windows the mouse and keyboard lose power. When I unplug and replug them the keyboard lights up but doesn't work and the mouse doesn't even light up
