Can't Boot from SSD

Hello everyone, first post so sorry if I miss any needed information.

 

I recently bought a new PC case and swapped everything into it, no new parts other than the case. The system powers on properly and everything seems to be plugged in correctly, but I am no longer able to boot. This is the same motherboard and same SSD that were functioning properly a few ours ago in the other case. The error that I keep getting is that media is present, but I get the "Start PXE over IPV4" message upon booting. I made sure that the boot order starts with the SSD so not sure what steps I can take to resolve.

Did you install your case drivers?

 

Just kidding, check that the SSD is plugged into the same sata port as before, and unplug all other drives and USB devices.

Also go into bios and load optimized defaults.

This sounds vaguely similar to a couple weeks ago when I changed boot drives to an SSD. My board got stuck during POST, with no beeps or other error code. I solved by unplugging all internal devices (with some exceptions) and progressively adding each device.

 

Afterwards, my SSD was detected, and I could manually select it from the boot menu, but the mobo would not select it on its own. That ended up being related to my old C: drive still having a Windows Boot Manager, causing it to selected over the actual boot drive. A full clean of the old C: drive solved that.

 

Try unplugging RAM, drives, and expansion cards, followed by plugging them in one by one until it either works, or same result.

I think I screwed up while fixing on my own and tried booting in Ultra fast boot mode. Now I don't know how to get back into the bios to try the suggestions you had.

Make sure the PC is off, then start spamming BIOS key as fast as possible, press power button with other hand while spamming BIOS key. If that doesn't work, idk what will

Try clearing the CMOS by taking the battery off, holding the PC power button for 30 seconds and placing the battery back in. Or, around the battery, should be 3 pins, with a slot of the first 2 pins. Move that slot to pins 2 + 3 and then move it back to slot 1 + 2.

Last time I tried clearing CMOS (on any PC) it didn't do anything.

@AskTJ Didn't help, it still passes over my SSD and ends up being stuck in the EFI Shell

Can you see it in BIOS/boot from it in boot menu?

Got back into bios, reset everything to default/optimized and trying all 4 Sata slots on the motherboard to see if something sticks.
