Hello,

I just recently got a  brand new 4k tv and wanted to see how well my pc would work with it. I know tv's are not made for gaming and they are going to have input lag but when I hooked up my pc to my new tv it had huge input lag. I know it is not my pc because my pc is getting fine fps and is not throttling or anything. Is there anything I can do to lower the input lag without lowering the resolution?

Thanks,

Dylan

Check and see if the TV has a "Game Mode." That will often reduce the input lag significantly.

Indeed game mode helps alot, but its important to check reviews that test input lag prior to buying as input lag isnt something that is in the manufactures specs.

Even in game mode you can have unwanted input lag. generaly speaking less than 25ms in game mode is good for a TV.

other than turning game mode off you could try turning off any other settings in the tv that do stuff with the image.
