So I want a new ssd and was planning on getting this one tomorrow http://www.microcenter.com/product/485911/240GB_3D_MLC_V-NAND_SATA_III_6GB-s_25_Internal_Solid_State_Drive

(might get 500 instead but besides the point) I care about asthetics and want it to match my other one, https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820228143

(although this one is 120) and I have one in another computer, so I was wondering if I could switch the casing for the ocz and the inland and still have it work the same? Also is the inland one good? Its pretty cheap. Thanks.

Ok, say I got another one, think it would be possible?

Probably not because they are mounted differently internally.

Depending on the size of the SSD and the manufacturer, the motherboard will be larger (or smaller).

Although it is perfectly possible to open the case (I've tinkered around with SSDs before), you might need to DIY the inside of the case a little bit (remove studs etc.) to make a larger SSD fit.
