Hey, I want to make a bootable USB device for, well, Windows and I use the Mediacreationtool provided by Microsoft, but every time the Data is downloading it stops at around 6 or 7 %. I tried ISO and normal USB device like 5 times each, but at around 6 to 7% the taskmanager shows nothing anymore. First i had my typical speed of around 8.6Mbit/s but then, nothing. What can I do? (sorry but the picture is in German but everything is completly normal)

Try waiting longer than 5 minutes.

why should it make a difference? if the internet wont downloading it it wont downloading

The last time I used the MS-supplied tools to get the ISO, it took 45 minutes on a connection far faster than yours.

Their servers are slow, have patience.

If you have a Linux machine (or vm) or a Mac, you can download the iso directly from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO.

However, if you go to that link on a Windows machine, it'll automatically redirect you to the media creation tool. This might be an alternative for you if the MCT fails to download the full file.

Edit: attached image from my mac. I could probably generate a download link for you if you tell me which edition, language and architecture you need.
