Need quick help choosing a phone.

Hey everyone. My bro just got back from camp and tomorrow morning he's going to buy a phone. I asked what type and he said "a nice one". I don't even own a cell phone but a few phones come to mind. HTC One, Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Moto X. Have any suggestions?

 

I can't tell you what he needs in a phone because not even he knows. I don't have the time to watch/read reviews and compare phones i'm just looking for a solid recommendation. Something that isn't too big and is fairly durable would be a plus though.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

well my friend has the S4 and it is awesome nice screen very quick, the nexus 5 is good as well very slow at booting though but once it gets going it is very quick. basically comes down to screen size and what you are going to fully use your phone for.

HTC One - nice camera and speakers.

 

Samsung phones - Software updates, removable batteries, SD card slots and AMOLED screens. They also have good support.

 

Nexus 5 - Pure android, very prompt updates, cheaper, easy to root and mod.

If you want a good phone and don't mind spending a little bit extra perhaps a Nexus 5?

If u want a bit of features go for the galaxy s4 (or note 3) 

But if u are looking for only pure performance and   fast android updates then go get a nexus 5...which is among the fastest among all phones...(there is no phone in the android market that uses a better chipset)and it is also a bit cheaper than galaxy s4 and is actually faster than s4...!

The G2 is the fastest best Android phone hands down at this point!

....but its bogged down by LG's rubbish custom UI.
