Hi everyone,

Building a game with some friends, and if course we decided to go with Unreal Engine because it provided some visual capabilities we cannot get with Unity, plus the whole C++ thing over C#.

Anyways, I've been trying to look, and haven't found any resolution to my crashing issues. UE4 will crash randomly, sometimes in 5 minutes, sometimes in 2 hours. It generally occurs when I'm adjusting a mesh. I feel like it is my video card, but I'm not sure. Even all stock, no OC, and having reinstalled Windows 10, I'm still experiencing this issue.

The crash report gives need nothing, it tells me I can't view the tree.

But haven't been able to find much. Most of the issues online seen related to Fortnight, which I don't play. I just want to create a game without crashing and losing progress.

Hardware: R7 1700x, MSI X370 Carbon, x16gb Corsair Vengeance, x2 RX 480 (have also tried with CF disabled), Samsung 960, WD BLACK, Corsair RM 750X.

I thought of that, but the permits drivers constantly created in games with Wendy's 1803. My fault for apparently not completely disabling the update...

Go back to an old version of windows then? Im sure theres a few older ISO's out there.

How complex is your game? in terms of 3d art
If your models are too complex, it can potentially crash your system. I've only had Unreal Engine 4 crash on my laptop because the video card is under-powered & the engine isn't what I'd call optimized.

There are other options for making games (even in C++) though Unreal is quite popular.

My game isn't complex at all, I literally had just started. I don't have issues with any of the tutorial projects, so I'm beginning to think one of my assets has a problem. I've only got 3 assets, floor, wall, and ceiling. I've downloaded the debug symbols, and it's an Assertion Failed.

I don't quite know Unreal Engine 4 aside from the name.
Are they all default objects built in from Unreal Engine? I think they're called basic Brushes.
If not are they custom or downloaded assets? If you can show me the assets if they're custom (Link to where you got them would suffice) Maybe I can see if there's a problem with the files themselves.
