I just put together a $850 gaming pc for 1080p gaming, on games such as Fornite, Rainbow Six Siege. I am wondering if you all had any changes you think could be made, and whatnot. The only thing i am skeptical on is the motherboard, but it seemed OK for the price and what i have with no choice of overclocking in the future. The 1x8gb is for later on when i want to add another 8gbs if i feel it is necessary.

Looks good.

I would personally get a Z370 board in case you upgrade to an unlocked CPU in the future, but it's not a requirement.

I would next grab more RAM and one of these. Nice build. I would use the Optane stick as a RAM booster for when you need to have a million tabs open in chrome, or have some other RAM intensive application running.

I'd recommend this gpu: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pbL7YJ/evga-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-gaming-video-card-06g-p4-6161-kr usually better performance/cooling, and this motherboard just for a bit more, but more stable temps/voltages: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PzF48d/msi-b360m-pro-vd-micro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-b360m-pro-vd
