I would definitely do so, CL16 is much better.

So today I have built my new pc, which has the r5 2600, x470 gaming plus and 8gb from Crucial, the elite model at 3200mhz CL16. I have set the speed at 3200 through Ryzen Master but the timings now are Cl20. Should I change the speed changing the XMP profile?

yes try to if you can get stability, theres less of a point to running fast speed ram if the latencys are terrible

Have you tried setting the RAM speed etc. in the BIOS instead of Ryzen Master?
