Any i switched from 1440p/ 100-165hz to 4K/60 Thoughts ?

gasolin

I see this I switched from 4K/60 to 1440p/165 – here are my thoughts  https://www.kitguru.net/peripherals/monitors/dominic-moass/i-switched-from-4k60-to-1440p165-here-are-my-thoughts/

But never the I switched from 1440p/165hz (or 100hz or 144hz)  to 4K/60hz because i have a 3440x1440 100hz monitor and

would like the going to 4k/60 hz thoughts (not about gpu,but the whole difference of resolution more space, problems gaming in 4k/1080p........ you name it.)

Im thinking of the 32" monitors with g sync, but also if it's worth going for a cheaper 32" freesync monitor and going for a no less than the  gtx 1070 equal amd gpu which is a vega 56.

If your are changing your refresh rates to slower refresh rates,

for example,

144hz to 60hz,

you are going to see a big difference and it will look sluggish and slow to you.

I suggest getting 1440P 144hz over 4K 60hz because the 1440P still has lots of sharpness and pixels and the higher refresh rates will give a faster image and see games in a whole new way.

The Vega 56 isn't the best card for gaming. I suggest a 1070 like you said to drive the 1440P monitor.

hi.

Well set your monitor at 60Hz and see if you like it. If not, then don't switch.

it's not just doing that, i started to play the crew again and it only runs at 60hx (max) it runs fine except for the game having stutter from time to time, just not an optimized game.
