Mobo lan light still active after shutdown

When I shut down my pc the lights on the lan port still stay active and the router still shows that the pc is connected on one of its lan ports. It never used to do this. I have tried everything such as wake on lan, and disabling windows 10 fast boot. The system also does not have an EUP setting in the bios. System specs below. Does anyone have any ideas? 

 

Mobo: Asus H97i-plus

CPU: i3 4160

RAM: 8Gb 1600mhz corsair

SSD: 120gb kingston drive

Lan? as in Ethernet? Mine stays on cause power is still supplyed. Normal for me.

Yep the ethernet port still stays active, with one of the the lights flashing, the other stays on constantly. Thanks :)

That's normal for me. is one Green and one Orange? that means Gigabit Internet is connected.
