4najm.jpg was supposed to be the home of another Samsung 1tb evo 860. Putting my build into a tower (which is another story) and the one and only locking sata cable of 6 I forget about and this happened.

Pc won't read it that plastic piece is missing the l shape one. I put a tiny prece of cardboard in the sata cable and it reads then crashes over n over. Any fixes? Thinking about soldering but never done it lol I've already written it off and haven't surprised my wife yet that were going to best buy tomorrow to replace it with a 970 m.2 yet but would like to fix it. Also any other nvme drives that are good? Samsung has been reliable but if I'm going to spend the money for a ssd I don't see a point in getting anything smaller then 1tb cuz anything less is useless to me but the Samsung is 399 100 more then what I broke... Any comparable or just get a Samsung?

One of the fingers on the SATA data connector is contacting the adjacent one. Unless you can fix that, you are out of luck.

I had a 2.5" HDD that had the L shaped piece missing and it still worked just fine. I just hadd to make sure I was putting the cable in correctly.

As long as anyone is oppressed, no one will be safe and free.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!
