100% Disk usage all the time

Hi,

I have a problem with my pc (Ryzen 3/8GB/850 Evo SSD/1050TI).

I have 100% disk usage ALL THE TIME (10mb/s read and write max).
This began last week and came out of nowhere. I built this pc last October.

So the ssd is at 100% usage all the time and it takes over 30 minutes to boot into windows 10. Nothing is using the disk...
So when i try the disk on another pc, it works with no issues.

I have tried everything to fix it from software/os. I have not changed any uefi/bios settings. I have tried every solution from google.

My pc does not work with any other Hdd/ssd either.

Can someone please help I cant do anything on my pc. :(((

what could cause the problem?

EDIT: The SSD is a brand new. Bought brand new 1/2018, works on any other pc just fine.

Probably a dying SSD TBH.

You can try sfc /scannow in a command prompt with admin permissions and see if that helps.

Open Task Manager, sort by Disk Usage, and take a screenshot with Alt+PrtScrn. Paste it into Paint so you can upload it.

@JoostinOnline here you go.

I would first-

Run the sfc /scannow like i mentioned. Also clear your CMOS to make sure thats a non-issue.

If that doesnt fix it, might wanna try to repair the windows install.

if that doesnt work, reinstall windows.

@Jrock Hi, I have already tried to sfc /scannow and left it running for 2 days straight. No results. Also have reinstalled windows already. Infact, this is a fresh install of windows. I have cleared Cmos too. Is there someting else I can try?

You sure that it's the drive? Any other drive I plug in to the pc has the same issue as this one. :/

Windows is running an update and malware scan.  Leave it alone for a few hours (turned on of course) and it should be back to normal.

Didnt you read the thread? it takes 30 mins to boot. AND it works fine on other systems.

I did.  But it's obviously trying to do updates in the background.  That won't necessarily happen on other systems if it's driver related.  If it's not working normally after a couple hours of being alone, then there is a bigger problem.  However, this possibility should be eliminated first.

Try turning off superfetch, though people say it is useful but sometimes it makes your computer too slow. Even my laptop with 7200rpm harddisk used to always go on to 100% but switching off after turning off superfetch,, initially it rotates at 100% for 4-5 min but after that it comes down to 50% and there is no performance issues .................!!!
