audio mixer

Go to solution Solved by anothertom,

Since your sources are all stereo, you need something different to a standard 8 channel mixer. The good news is that they don't have to be super expensive, the bad news is you don't get many nice features (balanced I/O, faders, eq etc...).

The Rolls mx42 is about as good as you get, then if you need to switch the output, get a phono switch as well.

hi i'm planning a 2 computer set-up and need an audio mixer or whatever it's called. Basically the requirements in my head are basically 4 input and 2 output. My main PC runs a game, my laptop runs discord, alexa/echo runs spotify with one more input for spare (e.g friend's aux for music). The two outputs are for headphones and speakers, able to be toggled from the mixer(?) itself. Volume controls for each individual input and preferably a master volume control as well. Doesn't need to have microphone input/output as I will be running a microphone directly into the laptop running discord. Anyone know of any such products (preferably within an affordable budget as the PC already costs a bomb, ty gpu) that they can recommend? oh and needless to say, decent sound :D
