Micro-atx or mini-itx

Go to solution Solved by Coombzy,

No it will not go for ultra that easily. Maybe high. Why get the M when getting an MITX board?

it will according to these videos

Hello im new in this forum, was just send here by a viewer on twitch :P

But basically i want to build my own pc, with the intention of gaming.
Ive got no idea what and how to do it, but i really wanna make my own pc..lol..

But i was wondering i found a mini-itx motherboard, will that fit into a micro-atx(prodigy m, case).

I think the setup is going to be this:

mobo: GA-H87N-WIFI

Case: prodigy m

OP: Windows 7
cpu: intel core i5 4670k
card: Asus gtx 760 2 gb
ram: 8 gb
power: 600 w

cd: samsung cd reader
ssd: samsung 120 gb.

And second, would this setup be able to beat bf4 on ultra, and in the future gta 5? :-)

Merry Christmas, Tom.

It's an okay build, I'll need to learn a bit more about Mini - ITX Motherboards and Micro ATX cases.

But, an advice from me, tone down the CPU if you're only planning to use this PC for gaming.

Rather might go with an Intel Core i5 3570k with a GTX 780, but before I could actually recommend you that, do you have an actual budget limit for your build?

Big Mac:

CPU: AMD FX 6300. GPU: MSI GT 640. Case: Azza Atlas Gaming Case.Storage: Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200RPM. Memory: 8GB 1600Mhz 2x4. OS: Windows 8.1

Cobra (WIP) :

CPU: Intel Core i7 4930k. CPU Cooler: Corsair H110 GPU: Asus OC GTX 780Ti. Motherboard: ASRock Extreme6 Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo. PSU: Corsair AX 860i Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 1TB SSD w/ Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 7200RPM. Memory: AMD 8x2 16GB 1866Mhz. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Im danish, and by budget is roughly 7.100 kr. which is 1.300$, but the problem is, its sooo expensive in Denmark, compared to other countries..

An MITX board has the same performance as an MATX and ATX, as long as you compare them with the same CPU and GPU, it's not going to be less powerful as some may say.

As for case compatibilty, IDK really, but I'm sure people will tell you ;).

And yes this will run BF4 on ultra, maybe not at a constant 60fps, but just turn down anti-aliasing.
