Just install fresh copy of windows onto the new SSD then USB caddy transfer the files you need from the old one if its still responding. Windows activation keys are stored in the motherboard so you will not need to buy a new key.

Hi guys, my PC was failed to boot up, it stuck at the infinite loop boot up page, even after I hard restart it still go to black screen after "Preparing Repair". I suspect it is my SSD undergoes a hardware failure. I wondering how to migrate my OS from failure SSD to a new SSD, and my OS is OEM Windows 10 version. Any help or advice will be appreciate. Thank you.

If you’re having boot issues, you should opt for a clean install.
