Iphone X or something else?

So i just bought a full price iphone x, i was feeling ballsy. So the phone company said i have 14 days for a full refund its been a litte over a week and im not sure what i should do, do you guys think i should keep the iphone x, or bring it back for some big cash back and get a cheaper phone?

(like is pixel 2 worth it at this point, its very outperformed by the x should i wait for the 3)

Basically how smooth everything is, no lags no having to frustrate with little bugs and lags like I did on my galaxy s8, I love stock Android, but I don’t know if it will be as buttery smooth as the iPhone X, but I think I might prefer the pixel 2 but it just feels underpowered which is why I went for the iPhone X

You could wait for the Iphone SE 2 but I say keep the X. You already have it and seeing how fast the Pixel 1 is already not being updated and dead I wouldn't go that route. Same with screen burn in issues and such.

Just keeping this here as a It won’t be. And any issues that you donotice right now are being actively worked on with iOS 11.4 which is coming out in a week or so, further iOS 12 is oriented towards reinforcing/rebuilding the infrastructure of iOS to give it some of that good ol’ pre iOS 5 reliability, lol.

If performance and the lifespan of the product are of concern, as much as Google promises to offer that, them abandoning some of their phones that are only 2 years old means that I wouldn’t trust them. Not until they can prove that they support phones that get to be at least 4 years in age before they stop receiving support. 

 

Apple on the other hand is rumored to be giving the iPhone 5s iOS 12, making the iPhone 5s the first iPhone to be given 6 years of software support (in addition to hardware support). That is probably a record product lifespan for smartphones.

Where exactly did the Pixel 2 XL feel "underpowered", where the iPhone X didn't?

Any specific areas? Or just looking at Benchmark numbers? ^^
