Hello!

I want to upgrade!

I have a AMD Radeon HD7540D iGpu.

My budget is around € 80 (90$), I want to be able to play games such as Overwatch, Word Of Tanks, Minecraft and maybe Destiny 2 on Mid-High settings if possible.

I have 8Gbs of DDR3 memory, 500w Psu and a Msi A68HM Grenade mobo.

Now, I am unsure whether this is too good to be true or not, but the seller has really good reputation and a 60-days return policy... Worth to give it a shot?

Look at the "buyers" and their reviews, there could be copies of messages and fake bots.

Does not look like bot messages to me, especially given the reputation of the users as well. But it might be true, I have not purchased on ebay for a long while. Also, the seller joined back in 2016, so I am really not sure.

It might be, that's why I said that it might be too good to be true. However, cards manufactured in China often do have lower prices and the real GPU that is advertised. Still, it is a risk indeed and I do not want to defend the seller.

No this is 100% counterfeit.Genuine 1050's don't have a VGA outputs, genuine ones have DP, HDMI and DVI. The card shown on Ebay looks to be like the PCB of GTS 250, obviously a much older and slower card.

I'd try to find a used 1060 (either is fine) or 1050ti. It will easily last you a long time if it's in good condition.

Since prices have gone down a lot, I've finally started to see people selling used GPUs for less than MSRP, at least in my country. There are good deals to be had.

Clearly fake, no 1050s are made with VGA ports these days. Probably a modified (flashed bios) 750 or worse.

If you really don't want to go into the used market, then I suggest going with something like the GT 1030, because, you probably know that now isn't the best time for looking at retail priced GPU. My suggestion would be to look into the used market, but just be careful and investigate every deal that you would be interested in, it's very easy to fake a GPU like the guys stated above.

My Current PC (The Starter):

CPU - Ryzen 3 2200G | GPU - Radeon Vega 8 | Motherboard - Asrock AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX | RAM - G.Skill Ripjaw V Series 2x8GB DDR4-2400 | Case - Cougar MX330 | Storage - Kingston A400 120GB SSD and WD Blue 1TB HDD | PSU - EVGA 500W PSU | Cooling - AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler |

My MacBook (The Forum-Master):

CPU - Intel Core i5 (dual-core) | GPU - Intel HD 3000 Graphics | RAM - 2x2GB DDR3-1666 | Storage - 320GB SATA Disk

Old Laptop (The Roblox Beast):

CPU - AMD A8-4555M | GPU - Radeon HD 7600G | RAM - 8GB | Storage - 1TB HDD

  • 2 years later...

Don't go for the used one, there's a chance that you might get one that was used for mining... it happned with me a year ago, I'm currently using GTX1660ti bought it new for $230 and i love it...
