So now that steam link app for android has launched i got it working I can see everything and do some simple things to my pc from my phone over wifi but i would like to use my ps3 controller I have an otg cable so wired connection is possible but it seemed like the game (rainbow six siege) only registered some actions not all of them whats the problem and how to fix it?

I've gotten the PS4 controller to work on android so I think the PS3 should be fine.

I got everything working no need for additional apps I just needed to change some settings If anyone needs help I am happy to help just tag me!

It feels pretty smooth and only problem I can now find is that Im really sucky with a controller

If you do it wirelessly the latency for this will skyrocket. I wish you luck but whether you're using Miracast or Google Cast you're probably going to have about a full second of latency.

 

Your best bet would be to use an MHL/SlimPort/DP-Altmode adapter to the TV and run the controller via bluetooth.

 

If not you'll be back to the original options of buying a steam link or cheap Android powered set top box or Android TV box.
