Need help

I'm trying to save up to buy a pc to play some of my favorite games, and  I research the topic obviously finding Linus's channel and quickly learning a lot but I need help grasping nitty gritty things like seeing if the system that I'm building will bottleneck or not so please tell me you tech geeks out there if my system will encounter any problems. I'd move up to Ryzen 5 2600 and a better case ( since you're adding $17 in fans to a $24 case).

 

Get Ripjaws V 16GB 3200 RAM, buy a $14 Windows Pro key from scdkey dot com, and a better motherboard.

 

Should net same price.

Yeah. G.skill has been know to be one of the better ram brands for ryzen.

But aren't only certain types of ram compatiblewith ryzen or is it all g.skill ram

Not sure about all G. Skill, but those Ripjaws V are great for both Intel and AMD.  I use that exact kit in my rig.

 

I like Brooksie359 build, but I'd save money on Windows and get a bigger monitor.  24" minimum, preferably 27".  You may not notice 5 FPS from Ryzen 1600 to 2600X but you'll always see your monitor.

Well a lot of people say over 3000mhz for ryzen so that's why a have that ram. I fell like that ram would be important

Oh, get whatever RAM you want that works!  If you like Corsair, by all means.  Just trying to re-allocate your budget to get the most for your $$$.

 

Btw, the G. Skill we recommend is 3200Mhz, same as the Corsair you list.

But again, go with the Corsair.  It;'s good stuff too.

Perfectly fine, I'd ask just like you are.  

 

Peace of mind is worth more than a few bucks, get the Corsair and don't give it another thought

 

But for god's sake, do NOT pay for Windows.  Or pay $14 if you have to.
