SOUND card info request.

I've been using a yamaha ysp5600 atmos sound bar, its connected via gpu hdmi, as that is the only medium which supports TrueHd; my problem is that the sound bar appears as another monitor and it screws with my multi monitor setup on occasion.

Is there an external method or a pcie sound card with Hdmi with atmos support that anyone knows of? My research only found one seriously old asus card which has long since disappeared

Have you tried using the keyboard shortcut winLogo.jpg (18×18) P (Windows key, P)?

Yes, but the issue is I'd rather not have it be detected as a monitor at all, but maintaining audio quality and atmos capabilities.

Can you disable the monitor device driver in Device Manager without affecting audio?

TrueHd audio running at 7.1 for atmos requires a protected link to stream audio which means it needs a display system. Think I'm pretty screwed.

Ahh well.
