IO problems

I’ve had this problem before and did find a solution but this solution is not working. The rear and front IO on my motherboard is not working. The USB devices are getting powered(my keyboard is lighting up) but they do not work

Yes it goes past the bios and gets to the login screen but because USB devices aren’t working I can’t put in anything

Maybe in the bios there is a option to disable usb devices or something like that, look into it.

I can’t get into the bios because the keyboard doesn’t work. Or I should say the keyboard does work but because of this problem it won’t work

Remove the CMOS which resets the BIOs than put it back in. Boom, should be solved.

 

(It's that circle thing, just unplug the PC before you do it)

Yeah I tried it already and it still doesn’t work. That’s what’s someone else told me when it happened previously but for some reason it doesn’t work this time

Have you changed any settings within the BIOS recently?

 

Removing the CMOS battery won't always clear CMOS. Power off the machine, remove the power cable, CMOS battery and get a screwdriver.

At the bottom of your motherboard below the CMOS battery and to the left of the bottom four SATA ports will be two pins sticking out from the motherboard. Hold the screwdriver on top of these for 5 - 10 seconds making sure both are contacted at once.

Remove the screwdriver, reconnect the CMOS battery and plug in the power cable.

 

Never jump these pins while the system is powered on.

 

I've highlighted in RED where the pins are, page 7 of your motherboard manual component name JBAT1

Ok so I did exactly what you said and it came up with the reset the bios thing but the USB devices still aren’t working so I can’t press f1 to run setup

Ok your motherboard supports an older format of keyboard called PS/2. This should work even if USB won't. Assuming you don't have an ancient keyboard lying around you may want to look at eBay or local charity / thrift stores.

I love PS/2 my dad has tons of those. They are so redundant. Many local businesses have them, go ask around. If you can.
