https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WF8k9J I do plan on upgrading from my current amd fx 6300. I already have a gtx 1060 so I'm fine for now. I will be using this upgrade for content creation, gaming, school, coding, and graphic design. I'm not sure about the watercooling solution because I am planning to overclock. Or I can save 100 dollars and run at stock. So please, give ur suggestions on what I should change. If you think this is just for Minecraft, then you are wrong. Please give your honest opinion on what should I do and change.

Edit: Added in PSU

You've missed the power supply, unless you've already got one to use.

if you worry about noise. just get something like this one https://pcpartpicker.com/product/64cMnQ/seasonic-focus-plus-gold-750w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-750fx

otherwise just insert generic good quality 550 watt psu

Well I was thinking either the 550 of the 750 or the 650. But I think the 550 might suit my needs

an MX500 is cheaper than the evo with the same performance so get that instead. otherwise it's fine.

Changing the cooler is something that can be easily swapped out later on. The 2700x comes with a decent stock cooler so if you wanted to bring the cost down a bit you could hold off on the AIO until a later time and upgrade.

The Seasonic FocusPlus 550W you have selected will be fine for your build even if you wanted to overclock the CPU.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

I ws thinking of laying off of the AIO because I dont really think higher clock speeds will help me at the moment as its stock speed and high cord count is good enough for me.

a decent aircooler like the NH-D14 from Noctua often performs just as well as any AIO on the market. the 2700x has precision boost 2 which means that any overclocking you do will have minimal gains in most loads as the boost controls the cores rather well

Isn't the D14 discontinued? Do you mean the D15? Also, is the case fans in the S340 fine for airflow?

Probably. You can still get the D14 however. I havent been aware of the D14 being discontinued. It is still a great cooler though

The D15 is kind of the same, although improved performance of course since it is the new D14. Literally looks the same.
