Windows Explorer Crashes Frequently

nugnug93

I've started having some issues lately with Windows 8, every time I boot explorer crashes and I have to restart it in task manager. It then crashes at random points as well, and sometimes crashes when trying to access the Metro screen or the charms bar. This is a random issue that's just started happening and I have no idea what is going on, anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

I have the same problem. I think its because I have set my libraries to my storage drive rather than my boot drive ssd unfortunately I don't know how to fix it and I think it needs to be patched rather than a fix that we can do.

Ah right, glad to know I'm not the only one in this position. I decided to just backup and do a clean install in the end. Would still like to know if there is a fix or when there is a patch though, in case it happens again.
