Windows 10 pro creators update - missing SATA SSD drives

mark_cameron

Since I updated to WINDOWS 10 Pro - Creators update :

I'm having problems with SATA SSD drives going missing or not being detected.

One was a new SATA Samsung 850 PRO on my X99 Deluxe board (no impact on existing 850 PRO or an M.2 950 PRO SSD)

Finally got it detected after an hour of unplugging and replugging and trying to mount it.

The other is on a Intel 530 SSD on my old Asus P8Z77-V / 3770-k Ivy Bridge build that is on its second life as a work-station. Its just vanished. I'm going to try the unplug/replug

Anyone else had any problems with missing SSDs after the update in the last 6 months or so?
