When I started buying parts for this build, it was supposed to be a budget pc. I started with a new ASRock AB350 Pro4 motherboard and a new Ryzen 5 1400 cpu. But then I bought a couple of used windforce 1080's from a coworker who used them for a couple of months in his mining rig. Here's my list of parts that I have now.

ASRock AB350 Pro4

Ryzen 7 1800x

Noctua nh-d15s

Samsung 970 evo 250gb m.2 ssd

Crucial 500 gb SATA ssd

Seagate 3 tb SATA hdd

Gigabyte Windforce Gtx 1080

EVGA Supernova G2 650 watt gold psu

16 gb Gskill 3200 ddr4 ram

Corsair Obsidian 750 full-tower case

Let me know what you guys think. I was told this is a weird build.

I should probably mention that I'm building this for simultaneous gaming and streaming, until I can build a second pc for dedicated video encoding.

No need for a second pc if you got ryzen. It can handle gaming and streaming

Everything looks good except for your motherboard. It's a little more on the budget side. With a 1800x, you should have an x370 board. It will work but you can expect overclocking performance to be not too good

a couple of odd part choices, but it's quite far from being a train wreck.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W
