I got myself a 500g 970 evo yesterday and today I shut down my computer, installed it and now only one of my 240g 850 evo's are recognized.  I had them in raid 0

It's not a broken array, but only one drive is working at all.  I have changed many settings including switching to ahci and still only one drive recognized, even tried different ports and checking the cables on both ends.  I guess all I can think of is maybe one of the cable mod sata cables got bumped and isn't working any more, I'll attempt using some stock cables.

mb Asus MIXH, 970 evo, 850 evo x2, 1070, 7600k, 16g ram

Any thoughts or ideas?

edit: I took the m.2 out with no improvements

might be that the ports share the same input, so you can't use them at the same time. check the manual closely

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.

well I just did some trial and error and both drives are functional, I plugged them in one at a time on the same sata cable and each one recognized.  Then I reset uefi to default and they're both showing up but the uefi is glitched now.  It shows them as seperate drives for booting, however when I go to the raid configurator it says the drives are in use in an array.

I was planning on a clean install even before getting this m.2 so I might as well start over
