Hey!

This is my first time building a gaming pc, after using an Acer All-In-One for about 3 years I would like to upgrade and be able to play some AAA titles, perhaps even stream some Fortnite. Just wondering if this is a good build and what I could do to upgrade (cheaply). https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/hxJRvn

I'd get an M.2 SSD in there at least.

After that consider buying the 6GB 1060 (or buy used if you're comfy with that)

My profile picure is real. That's what I look like in real life. I'm actually a blue and white African Wild Dog.

Will that be able to run the AAA titles at decent settings?

Sorry about so many questions.

The 1400 is not worth it because it has less cache. This build has a better GPU, RAM, and has an SSD slapped in (which raised the price... I highly recommend it but feel free to remove it).

I would go for the 1600 if it is only 10 extra bucks thoufh.

M.2 is very fast and will boost the performance of any PC.

If not M.2 then do NVMe or just SATA III

M.2 connectors generally support NVMe drives and some also support SATA III drives. In other words, M.2 drives are not necessarily faster than 2.5" ssd.

A few months ago the cost of an M.2 NVMe drive was significantly higher than SATA III ssd of the same capacity, M.2 or 2.5". The difference is narrowing, especially at lower capacities.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
