https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/CCm2mq           Total:    $4136.00

a) What case fans do I need/do I even need one

You know you could have a ton of cash and still have pretty good performance right?

Could just add an X470 motherboard for StoreMI, or an 8 cor R7 2700/X

The 1080ti isn't worth the price increase over a 1070ti at that price.

Extra case fans aren't required unless you want to get some higher quality or RGB fans.

1080TI is not really worth the still-inflated cost atm IMO since new GPUs are coming in a few months. 1080 or 1070TI are more sensible choices and they can still drive a 1440p 165hz monitor very well.

Dropped the h150i Pro since the h115i Pro should handle the 8700K at up to around 5Ghz OC. White (yuck) Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200 RAM for an unbeatable price atm. Dropped the Razer peripherals because, quite frankly, Razer is crap. Fractal Design Meshify C is a very solid case, certainly a lot better than the cases in your PCPP build configs :P
