I bought a Z270I from Asus off of eBay. The seller said there were some broken/bent pins that are unused and don’t affect perf. I’m looking at the pins and can’t find anything wrong. Since I don’t know much about how these are actually supposed to look, I was wondering it anyone could tell if there’s something wrong.

There is nothing extraneous on a motherboard. The pin damage may be elsewhere (a USB header, for example)

I’m 99 percent sure they were referring to socket pin damage. If not, then I might have scored a sweet deal. (Assuming everything works)

look at it on an angle and see if any of them reflect light differently from the others, that should tell you if it's bent.

From the pic you've posted, I can't see anything. Perhaps you lucked out, only one way to find out....

the one thing i recommend is testing it with the cheapest cpu that is compatible with it. bent pins can break a cpu that you use with it...
