Well, looks like I hit the jackpot with my 290. Looking around, nobody else gets 940kh/s.

As a holiday gift to everyone here, I'm releasing my settings.

Thread Currency: 32765

Worksize: 512

Vectors: 1

Intensity: 19

GPU Threads: 1

Then in MSI AB, almost any card should be able to manage this:

Voltage: +100mV

Power Limit: +50

Core Clock: 1125 MHz

Memory Clock: 1500 MHz

Fan Speed: 100%

Temps are about 80C with 2 Corsair SP120 Performance fans blowing directly onto the card at 12v.

If you are wondering about how my Intensity is not 20: I found that I get 30kh/s less when it is 20 vs if it is 19. Quite confused myself.

Your fan speed matters on your card, I'm running 100% because I am 800 miles from my home at the moment, usually run at 90% for temp purposes (runs at 90C then).

One very important thing is you get your mem clock to 1500. At 1475 or 1525, my kh/s drops about 50 or so.

Happy holidays everyone, I wish you all the best of luck. :)

Al right, you're one of those people boosting up the 290 prices to lite/bit or mine any virtual coin...

Mate you're to late to the game and only messing up the prices for other consumers.

Seems you have a good OC card, gz

All right, you're one of the people who don't understand I didn't only buy a 290 for mining.

Only messing up prices for other consumers? How so? Me, my personal self, is messing up prices for other people by mining 24/7?

I made this topic to try and be helpful to other people, not have ignorant people rant on about mining in general about it.

If you want to rant about mining, go somewhere else.

He can still play games and it's not his fault he's one of the people mining with his cards I don't see a problem with it, it's pretty smart if he can get some coins quickly. But a better idea if you're just solely mining would be to get an ASIC Farm, as in a usb hub some asic miners and a usb fan cooling them. That's litterally all you'd need to do and asics run at 336mh/s
