hey,I just finished my build with Ryzen 2700X,but I think I did a mistake. My friend told me to use thermal compound and now my PC started and it shows me the CPU temperature is 50 graduses. Is that bad?Other friend told me it was useless to use thermal compound, because the stock cooler already had an applied one.Idk if 50 graduses are a lot and if I messed up something.I didn't set up anything, just started my PC and made a photo of my default settings. Please tell me that it's not a mistake to add thermal compoud with a size of pea if I'm using a stock cooler with already applied paste...I cba problems atm lol

it could be taking the temp of the CPU socket (from the MB, not the CPU).

Fire up windows, download HWinfo and check the CPU tdie temp under the CPU section.

You do one or the other not both. You can always pull the heat sink clean with rubbing alcohol and reapply the thermal compound.

Is it possible to have higher CPU temp, because I used too much thermal compound? Is 55 graduses too high or it;s normal?
