Gaming at 1080p on a 1440p monitor. Is it bad?

I do it on some games and you will have no issues or problems with it or the visual quality of the game.

with that 1070 you should be able to play at high settings at 1440p, no need to downscale to 1080p.

still gaming on 1080p on a 1440p monitor isn't that bad

Does it feel the same as gaming on a native 1080p monitor? No issues with the latency or response times?

Latency shouldn't be an issue.  I've heard complaints about grainy image, but like everyone above, I haven't seen it myself.

I dont notice any difference personally beyond a slightly larger display in game.
